Home Cafe Lab exists for one reason: to help you make cafe-quality drinks at home without a $700 espresso machine or a barista course. Every recipe here is tested in a real home kitchen with the tools most people already own.
How we test
Before a recipe goes live, we make it the way you would: a handheld frother, a mason jar, everyday milk, store-bought matcha, and simple syrups. We measure the ratios, time the froth, and taste against the cafe original when there is one. If a drink only works with specialty gear, we say so — or we find a version that works without it.
